happy anniversary to cowboy bebop

20 years ago Cowboy Bebop premiered in Japan, April 3, 1998. I can’t believe this masterpiece is 20 years old, what’s more unbelievable is how well its held up and how appealing it is to new comers. All of the elements in this show were on point and hit the bulls-eye. From the hugely appealing characters, to the wonderful action sequence, coupled with the fantastic music, everything about this show is awesome.
My personal favorite aspect is all the pop culture references (movies, songs, videogames…), which makes rewatching this series a treat.

Space Lion is one of my favorite tracks from the series

See you space cowboy

my top two movies of 2017

I’ve tried to pick two movies out of the year that were my favorites.  One tends to be the movie I’ve viewed the most, a lot of the times it’s the movie that I’ve paid to see more than once.  And the other movie is one that I just want to be recognized or pointed out. This year it simply came down to the numbers.
