Alan Young passed away last week on May 19, 2016. He died of natural causes at the age of 96.
He was the Wilbur that Mister Ed spoke so highly of.
But for me he was always a voice actor, lending his talents to animation.
I know him best as Scrooge McDuck. Since 1974 he’s voiced Uncle Scrooge in all platforms. I would come home after school to be greeted by Young’s distinct voice on DuckTales. Thanks for being a part of my childhood and thanks for the memories.
